Different Dog Behaviours + Faces and What They Mean continued..

In this blog post we will be picking up where we left off a little while back by revealing 5 more interesting facts about the faces dogs make and what they mean.

6) Intense Eye Contact

When a dog does this, it means their attention and alertness are 100 % focused on you and what you require from them. When training your dog, this is the eye contact you want to see to make your job easier!

7) Open Mouth With Relaxed Tail But High Ears

This means your dog is neutral, relaxed and secure in their surroundings. This can be a good thing to look out for when approaching a dog you don't know!

8) Straight Pointed Tail And Forward Ears

This is when you know your dog is being curious! They may have heard a sound or they smell something interesting to them. Either way they are ready to discover more!

9) Loose Floppy Tongue

This means that your loved one is chilled out! There is absolutely nothing in the World worrying them when they do this.

10) Baring Teeth, Ears Back And Snarling

Even though most people would be aware of what this means, it's always good to remind owners for everyone's safety. This means your dog or another dog is feeling threatened and giving a warning sign to everyone involved. This goes without saying, DO NOT approach a dog in this state even if they are angry at something else.
